Meet the Team

Daniel Bydlowski – Writer/Director

Daniel is an award winning filmmaker and virtual reality artist. Daniel was internationally recognized after his undergraduate short animation Ticket for Success received awards and was selected by several festivals, such as San Diego’s International Children’s Film Festival and AnimaMundi. The success of the film led to his master degree at the University of Southern California, where he had the opportunity to work with great directors and researchers such as Mark Jonathan Harris and Marsha Kinder, developing projects that were not only shown on the big screen, but also in museums. Always attempting to bring awareness to social issues such as those connected to health, bullying and the so-called digital revolution, Daniel is currently doing his PhD at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he focuses on new media and virtual reality as the future of cinema. He judges and reviews films for international film festivals and researches new media, such as virtual reality.

Dilek Ince – Producer

Born in Turkey, Ince’s interest in filmmaking came at an early age. Inspired by the films she watched in her town’s lone theater, she began making short films in her early teens. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Ince began working in television production at Channel D and TRT, Turkey’s most popular television channels as a Director Assistant. Despite her young age, she quickly moved up the ranks, eventually working for such prominent directors as Sundance award winner Rasit Celikezer. While gaining experience behind the camera, Ince first became aware of the limited roles for women in the Turkish film industry. Women were rarely chosen for directorial roles. Ince moved to the US to pursue her education and her career in 2008, and she has studied directing and screenwriting at UCLA and directed and produced multiple films. She is in the process of completing a feature documentary. She is also interested in new technologies such as VR. Her focus so far has been on shedding light on social issues as well as writing original screenplays.

Shelbi Jay Kepler – Producer

Shelbi has been producing and managing at a CBS-affiliated news station for the past two years. In 2017 she was honored with an Emmy nomination for producing a television special that followed a group of women recovering from breast cancer. Before venturing into news, she was an associate producer on the Sundance featured virtual reality project, Project Syria, and was a producer on the multi-media Interacting with Autism project. A graduate from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, while Shelbi has produced a lot of non-fiction content, storytelling is her passion. This September she will begin her master's degree at the University of the West of England, Bristol. She is one of just 16 students studying Wildlife Filmmaking in the program co-designed by the BBC's Natural History Unit. With her degree she plans to create content that hopefully will strengthen our connection with wildlife and nature.

Anabelle Munro – Producer

Anabelle has lived and worked in Berlin where she studied drama and acting under Rumanian theatre Icon Valentin Platareanu at the renowned private Charlottenburg conservatory. After being discovered for TV by her favorite German director and now business partner Thomas Jahn (Knocking on Heaven’s Door), her international career expanded rapidly; work driven moves to London, New York and Los Angeles, where she currently resides, followed. Entering the international arena, Anabelle did not only gather credits in movies and TV programs like the Academy Award winning “The Lives of Others”, “Girl Walks into a Bar”, “Car Jack”, “Balko”, “The Final Farewell”, “Better With You”.  Other recent creative partnerships include collaborations with Suzette Troche-Stapp and Debra Hopkins: Together with Troche-Stapp, she co-directed and produced Troche-Stapp’s TV movie “The Nerd Posse.”
